Frequently Asked Questions

What documents Do I need?

To export your horse, you are required to provide: Horse ID / Passport, Vaccination page, Health Certification, Import Permits. Our team will arrange all documents and arrange post arrival quarantine booking as well. Additionally, some countries require a pre-export quarantine. In case this is required, our team will assist you and advise you accordingly.

Are the horses sedated before travel?

The horses are not sedated before travel as we have professional grooms on board to look after the horses. Additionally, the hay nets usually distract the horses as they begin eating once loaded so it helps to keep them hungry before a flight.

Can I travel with my horse?

We do not recommend travelling with your horse as there are many restrictions and requirements involved that could complicate the matter. We highly recommend leaving your horse in the care of professionals who are trained to handle horses in the air and are cleared by airline security.

Can I bring my equipment in the stall?

Ideally it is not advisable to have large equipment in the stall as it can be a hazard in cases of emergency. However, small items such as rugs or travelling boots should not be an issue. If you need to transport large amounts of equipment, we can arrange this on the same flight.

How big is the stall?

In most commercial flights, the size of the stall is L: 2.94m x W: 2.34m x H: 2.32m
